Mobile Safari
What better way to fully immerse yourself in the African bush than with a mobile safari. Our tents are seamlessly erected, dismantled, and relocated within the park by our Inzila team. Over the course of the safari, led professionally by your experienced guide, we’ll relocate throughout Hwange, showing you the diversity of it’s flora and fauna. Discover what makes Inzila Mobile Safaris so unqiue.

While there is no ‘typical’ day, a rough outline may look like:
- Woken at dawn with a cup of coffee and continental breakfast
- Head out for the morning in search of animals, either on foot or in a vehicle
- Lunch will served back in camp – unless there is a sighting we decide not to leave, at which point we will cook up a spontaneous lunch in the bush
- A ‘siesta’ to follow, before the afternoon’s activities
- A scenic sundowner
- Finishing off the day with hot showers, a fire-cooked meal and stargazing
For children under 16 please get in touch for more details.
Space is limited, so we would recommend a soft carrier bag and a backpack.
From May to August it can be extremely cold (-2 C) so please bring winter clothes including gloves and beanies. Hot water bottles are provided at night and on the game drives, as well as fleece lined ponchos. Neutral coloured clothing is crucial while on a walking safari (Olive and Brown are better than Khaki.) Whilst on Game Drives, colours do not matter so your outer layers can be non neutral.
No, our minimum stay is 3 nights.
There is no power in the tents. LED solar battery lights are used at night and anything that needs to be charged can be done from the vehicle. There are USB and 24V power points in the vehicle.
The en-suite toilet, also known as a “bush loo”, looks like a hole in the ground with a toilet seat secured to a chair. There is one flushing porcelain “loo with a view” for the more “substantial stuff”. Showers are bucket showers heated by fire – this certainly is an authentic experience!
Yes, each safari has a maximum of 6 people, but should you wish to have an exclusive safari, please get in touch.
We can cater to most dietaries, and these should be given to us in good time to prepare accordingly.
